Beginner Shibari @ Soul Rope Studio

Delve into the art of tying and being tied on a journey of sensuality and eroticism. Explore the beauty of rope – of intuitive play, kinesthetic communication and the depth of experiences to discover therein!

Steeped in the traditions of Japanese rope bondage, these weekly classes cover a range of shibari patterns and techniques, including exercises of beautiful simplicity emphasizing connective tying.

Classes are mixed level (beginner / intermediate) and are tailored to each individual’s skill level in rope. Spaces strictly limited. Private classes available on request (advanced and other levels).

Students are invited on a ‘class excursion’ to attend Polyfinda’s Shibari Sunsets performance night, monthly on a Friday. Please see Polyfinda website and socials for event dates and ticket details.

Special private 1:1 lessons (75 minutes duration) suitable for all levels available as a course Thursday evenings. Option of 5.30pm, 7pm or 8.30pm start time

This is a partnered class. Please make arrangements for a tying partner outside of class, as no arrangements will be made in class for a tying partner.

The workshop is open to people of all genders and orientations. Wear comfortable clothing, as for a yoga class. Underwear is ok too.
